Fiduciary Fee Schedule
Choosing a family member as a fiduciary for your estate is common, but is not always possible, nor always advisable, depending on the circumstances. When you wish for a professional to manage and settle your estate, a law firm is often a good choice, because they have been involved directly in the planning process and know your wishes. Due to the sizeable investment of time and labor involved in settling an estate, professional fiduciaries do need to be compensated. Below is our published fiduciary compensation schedule, which, unless specified otherwise in your documents, will be the basis for our compensation in managing your trust or settling your estate and which is based on the fiduciary compensation guidelines approved by the Judicial Council of Virginia.
