Fees are generally going to be specified in your Letter of Engagement. Fees for legal work are usually either time-based (billed in tenths of an hour at a given hourly rate) or flat fees for a particular suite of services. Fiduciary compensation, for example, when Mata & Hill PLC serves as a trustee for your estate, are governed by the underlying agreement, which will usually refer to our current published fee schedule, found here, or else will be governed by the fiduciary compensation guidelines of the particular jurisdiction (often the case for administrators of intestate estates where there is no Will specifying particular fees).
